Hey, I loved reading your journey, and you guys look like you're really having fun! Happy Easter, by the way. Anyway, I was talking to my minister...the one who's going to officiate our wedding, and I think you might know her. Does the name Jeanne Kye Somner ring any bells?

We really enjoy reading both of your journals:) Today is Easter and I bet that the view you had this morning was an awesome Easter sunrise.
You are both in our thoughts. Be safe and don't talk to strangers. Just kidding.

Guys, thanks for the \"education\" about the AT. Really nice to meet you on the trail. When you read this you may find a little joy, Josh, in the fact that Duke did in fact go down today in the NCAA\'s. Roan was beautiful today--unfortunately we could only offer the mineral water- after reading your blogs beer will be drink of choice when I meet someone on the trail.

Family of Josh and Amanda - we hiked for about an hour today on the Roan Mt. - they are having a great time and look wonderful! We took a pic of them that I will send to their email.
Josh and Amanda - we were the family from Louisiana that picked your brain about hiking the trail. I think we will definitily try a 3 or 4 day section. When I told my husband that I really wanted to do it his first comment was - "but the Inca Trail has porters". Have a great hike - we talked about you guys the whole way home - love the website.

Hey Amanda & Josh,
I can't believe the awesome progress you two have made! I'm following along with you in spirit, getting updates from your site and mom! The memories you are making will last a lifetime. Enjoy every step of the way! You guys rock!
P.S. Just because you haven't actually seen a bear, doesn't mean they aren't there. Trust me, they really do **** in the woods. So...stay safe!!!
I really enjoyed reading your entries and envy your adventure. A friend of mine named wrongway is hiking behind you but if you happen to see him say hello.
